The 2016 Australian Good Design Awards gala evening was held on the 27th May.  Hosted at Sydney's Overseas Passenger Terminal and coinciding with the Vivid Festival and associated light shows, it was a fantastic location and atmosphere for a night of celebration.  

Fantastic results for qDesign and our wonderful clients, with the Jimbo's Petfood & Devondale Milkshakes packs securing Good Design Selection, and Nestle Thicken-Up & Gourmet Garden herb pots as Good Design Finalists.  A great night to share a table at the event with our valued clients, and reflect upon the journey from project inception through to ushering the new packaging into the marketplace.  As the conversation flows, wine pours and I consume my delicious meal, I look left and take in some of the night's entertainment, then look right and across the harbour to Sydney's Opera house lit up with mesmerising moving light shows.  A night like this makes all that hard work worthwhile! 

Congratulations to all awards winners and to the team behind Flow Hive, taking out the best in show award.  Back to the office now to keep ticking along with projects and nurturing our future champions.
