After securing 8 awards across Food, Beverage, Innovation, Accessibility, Consumer Experience and Sustainability at the recent Australian Packaging Design Awards, this was a cracking way to finish off a very busy 2015.
Well done to my core team at qDesign Enterprises for their passion and dedication in delivering to the clients brief and beyond.
Tip of the hat ultimately to the brand owners - Bombay Petfoods (NZ), Murray Goulburn, Nestlé Australia, their brand creatives and a cast of thousands that all work cohesively in the background to bring such products to life.
It is essentially an unspoken rule with many brand owners in Australia that an award accolade is seen as a "commercial curse" - usually resulting in short term life on shelf. If current form is to go by I would say the tide has turned on this myth . . . with all 3 of these products performing well above forecasts.
As you can see these successes are in large a team effort and as such success to be shared. Our role in each ranged from minor to major but we still played an important contributor to the collective win... the very reason we love what we do.
To share this with clients such as Bonson and Cryovac, a personal relationship which extends now to 12 and 20 years respectively, makes it even more special.
